UPS Technician – MPS Iraq

Mideast Power Systems (MPS), an ITG company, is specialized in the provision of critical power & cooling systems, electrical power distribution & control products, structured cabling and data center solutions, from renowned leaders.

Main responsibilities: 

• Identifying, analyzing, and repairing product failures.
• Conducting onsite maintenance visits and inspections.
• Providing field service and customer support to include equipment assembly, installation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, evaluating, repairing, testing and removal.
• Open to work after duty time in case of product failure or alarms.
• Providing technical product training and basic user functionality training to customers when required.
• Loading and unloading material for repair projects.
• Dealing directly with customers via e-mail, telephone, and meetings to ensure their satisfaction is maintained.
• Adding daily client visits on “Service” and sharing weekly activities with detailed description related to Preventive or corrective Visits.

Qualifications: 

• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on UPS and power systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, including the ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment, such as analyzers, plant meters, voltmeters, and tools for low and medium current systems.
