Job Summary:

Procurement Engineer will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing the supply of materials, equipment, and services required for our construction projects. In addition to ensuring timely project completion, cost-effectiveness, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our construction endeavors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish reliable relationships with vendors to ensure a steady supply of construction materials and services.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to create procurement plans that align with project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimates for materials and services, and work closely with the finance team to develop and manage procurement budgets.
  • Ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and maintain optimum stock levels to prevent project delays.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks that may impact project timelines, costs, or quality.
  • Maintain comprehensive procurement records, prepare regular reports on procurement activities, and present updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote environmentally friendly and sustainable procurement practices within the company.
  • Review and manage supplier contracts, service level agreements, and other legal documents related to procurement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Construction Management, Master Degree is preferred;
  • Minimum 8-10 Years of Experience in the same position or field, preferably construction industry.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages, Turkish language is privilege.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project Management, Outlook and AutoCad);
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Working Condition and Benefit Package:

  • Working Days & Hours: 6 days per week & 8 Hours per day;
  • Salary: $2000-$2500 USD per month, based on candidate experience and knowledge;
  • Annual Leave: 21 Working Days per Year;
  • Public Holiday: 16 Working Days per Year;
  • Communication: Sim-Card, Internet & Monthly Scratch Card for business purpose.
