Job Summary:

As a Project Manager will oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of projects while adhering to strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will work closely with a team of professionals, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding what the client or company wants to achieve;
  • Overseeing and managing several projects at the same time;
  • Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project, and its operations and scheduling the phases, to ensure deadlines will be met on time, on budget and on a high standard, and insuring that work is done properly;
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations, as well as agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project;
  • Hiring and negotiating with contractors, external vendors and suppliers and other staff to reach profitable agreements, and allocate responsibilities;
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project;
  • Directing a multi-disciplinary team, and supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed;
  • Writing beds for tender and obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities;
  • Evaluating and Reporting regularly on progress and prepare detailed reports;
  • Coordinating market and customer research;
  • Resolving and being responsible of any issues, emergencies or delays that can arise;
  • Demonstrating knowledge of all areas of construction, Complying with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements;
  • Working in an office or on a construction site, and ability to travel;
  • Organizing logistics, procurement delegating work and keeping track of spending.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Master Degree in Engineering or PMP is an advantage;
  • Above 10 Years of Experience in Construction Position or field (Including minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial roles or positions);
  • Fluency in Kurdish or Arabic languages and English and Turkish languages are essential;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project Management and Outlook);
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles;
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards;
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software;
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
  • A team player with leadership abilities;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task. & excellent organizational skills;
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Working Condition and Benefit Package:

  • Working Days & Hours: 6 days per week & 8 Hours per day;
  • Salary: 2500 USD per month, based on candidate experience and knowledge;
  • Annual Leave: 20 Working Days per Year;
  • Public Holiday: 16 Working Days per Year;
  • Communication: Sim-Card, Internet & Monthly Scratch Card for business purpose.
