Job Summary:

The Recruitment Officer is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent for various positions. This role involves comprehensive management of recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for candidates and stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a keen understanding of recruitment strategies, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and post job advertisements on appropriate job boards, company websites, and social media channels to attract qualified applicants.
  • Actively source candidates through various methods, including social media platforms, referrals, job fairs, and professional networks.
  • Manage candidate applications and maintain a structured recruitment process using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Review and shortlist applications to identify qualified candidates for further evaluation.
  • Conduct preliminary phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications and suitability for open roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between hiring managers and prospective candidates.
  • Conduct reference and background checks as part of the vetting process for potential hires.
  • Facilitate compensation and employment offer negotiations with selected candidates.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation, orientation, and initial training.
  • Generate regular recruitment reports to provide insights into hiring trends and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and local employment regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain effective communication with candidates, providing updates on application status and interview outcomes.
  • Conduct market research on talent trends and recruitment best practices to optimize hiring strategies.
  • Build and sustain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and educational institutions.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, IT or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in HR or Recruiting positions.
  • Fluency in Kurdish and English Languages, Arabic Language is an asset
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse tasks
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality;
  • Familiarity with ERP/HRMS systems.
  • Experience recruiting in fast-paced environments, especially for tech-oriented roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.

 

Working Conditions & Benefit Package:

  • Working Days and Hours: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
  • Salary: 1700-1900 USD
  • Annual Leave: 21 Days
  • Public Holiday: 16 Days
  • Communication Allowance: Available
