Job Summary:

The Fuel Station Manager will oversee the daily operations of the fuel station, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and excellent customer service skills to drive the station’s success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily fuel dispensing operations and convenience store activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement security measures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Foster a welcoming environment that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage financial transactions, including cash handling and sales reporting.
  • Create and manage budgets, ensuring profitability while controlling costs.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise station staff, ensuring high performance and morale.
  • Motivate employees to maintain a positive workplace culture and enhance team performance.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to fuel handling and storage.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop marketing initiatives to attract customers, such as loyalty programs or special promotions.
  • Build relationships with the local community to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Project Management or a related field, bachelor degree in preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in previous managerial experience in retail or fuel station operations is essential.
  • Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic Languages, English Language is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and empathy towards customers.
  • Effective team management, motivational skills, and delegation abilities.
  • Proficiency in stock control, supplier relations, and forecasting inventory needs.
  • Budgeting, sales analysis, cash handling, and financial reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, risk management, and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance, operational oversight, and accurate record keeping.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, fuel management systems, and basic maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to develop promotional strategies and community engagement effectively.

Working Conditions & Benefit Package:

  • Working Days and Hours: 6 days per week, 8 hours per day
  • Salary: Negotiable, based in qualification & experience.
