Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company’s financial accounting, reporting, and compliance functions.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into business performance.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks to support business operations and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial laws, and corporate governance requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.
• Supervise the accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions to maintain financial discipline.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on financial best practices and professional development.
• Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support financial decision-making by providing cost analysis, profitability reports, and investment evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with business goals and objectives.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping in compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Stay up to date with industry developments, financial regulations, and accounting trends to provide informed recommendations.
• Assist in strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and participating in business planning activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, Master degree is a privilege
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in accounting field, including two years in supervisory role and preferably automotive industry.
• Fluency in Kurdish or Arabic Languages, English Language is must
• Proficiency in Ms. Office (Word, Excel, PowertPoint & Outlook), advanced knowledge of accounting software.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse tasks
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions & Benefit Package:

• Working Days and Hours: 6 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Salary: $2500 – $3000 USD per month
• Annual Leave: Available
