Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle—from sourcing and tendering to vendor management and material delivery. This role is critical to ensuring seamless supply chain operations and timely project execution while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process for electrical materials, equipment, and services.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies in alignment with project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate the preparation of tender documents, including technical specifications and commercial terms.
• Oversee bid evaluations and ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
• Build and maintain a reliable network of local and international vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance and enforce contract terms, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Track and manage all logistics and shipments to project sites, ensuring minimal delays.
• Implement inventory control procedures to support just-in-time material availability.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and applicable regulations.
• Prepare detailed procurement and logistics reports for internal review and decision-making.
• Manage and mentor the procurement team, assigning tasks and conducting performance evaluations.
• Identify supply chain risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and procurement documentation.
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed on pricing trends and supplier capabilities.
• Support financial planning through accurate cost estimation and budget alignment.
• Drive process improvements and digitalization of procurement systems.
• Coordinate with legal and finance teams for review and approval of procurement contracts.
• Promote ethical and sustainable procurement practices across the supply chain.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Project Management or a related field, Master Degree is preferred.
• Above ten years of professional experience in supply chain or procurement roles, minimum five years in managerial position within the electrical or energy sector.
• Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic & English Languages.
• Proficiency in Ms. Office and Procurement Software.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent communication, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Play a key role in shaping procurement strategy and operational excellence.
• Be part of impactful infrastructure projects that support regional development.

Working Conditions & Benefit Package:

• Working Days and Hours: 6 days per week, 8 hours per day, including 30 minutes lunch break
• Salary: $3500- $4000 USD per month
• Annual Leave: Available
