Value Chain (Used Car) Assistant Manager – Erbil

Job Overview

Position: Value Chain Assistant Manager

Reporting To: Best-in-Town Project Manager

Duty Station: Erbil branch office

Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Facilitate the implementation of Lean Process Techniques (TPS).
  • Enhance customer-first/ centric mindset through Kaizen culture promotion across the operations.
  • Create/ Kaizen SOPs for operations to standardize working practices and ensure a consistent level of Service Delivery excellence.
  • Promote and support on development and managing Value Chain products and projects.

 

Used Car Operation

  • Create/ Kaizen SOPs & guidelines for the Used Car project.
  • Actively contribute to the Dealer’s needs assessment and identify development and support plan.
  • Develop the annual dealer training and support plan and follow-up implementation.
  • Participate in training and supporting Toyota dealers.
  • Survey market buying prices of Toyota and Non-Toyota vehicles on a regular basis.
  • Setting KPIs with the dealers to challenge and to achieve assigned target.
  • Report generation on a weekly and monthly basis for overall used car assessments, trade-ins, inventories, and sales.

General

  • Promote and support on development and managing Value Chain products and projects.
  • Actively participate in planning, implementation and follow up of the Value Chain projects, activities and achieving planned targets.
  • Communicate with TIQ Legal department and external Attorneys related to the Used Car, Rental and Leasing contracts, and all other related legal issues related to BIT department.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that might be requested by the line Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Automotive/ Business Administration, or similar field.
  • 3 years’ experience in automotive and/ or automotive related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Good written and verbal command of English and Arabic.

  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Independent, responsible, resourceful, and able to work under tight timeline.
  • High level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously, multi-task, under-pressure and in diverse work environment.
  • Ability to be in the market and survey locally the business trend of Used Car, Rental, Leasing, Subscription, Auto Finance, Extended Warranty Cover and Motor Insurance.
  • Experience working with customer support.
