Vehicle Logistics Administrator

Job Overview

Responsible to administrate, control and record all transactions and movements of vehicles in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Communicates with Customs Authority concerning GTP’s amendments, errors, etc.
• Coordination with Customs Authorities to amend any error during clearance.
• Follow-up the clearance operations from A to Z, paying custom duties on time to avoid demurrages.
• Follow up the clearance and exporting for those vehicles sold abroad as well as follow up the clearance of imported vehicles from GCC and other countries.
• Follow up moving of the cleared vehicles from the port immediately so not to be affected by demurrages.

• Receiving the Conformity Certificate from manufacturer and forward the same to Customs Authority for clearance purpose.
• Communicate with manufacturer and contact GSO to support them as needed, case by case.

• Administrating the Insurance claims from the point of raising the claim to getting approval from Insurance Company.
• Coordinate with the National service and Warranty department to raise the Misruled and defect claims.

• Checking, verification and safe keeping of GTPs.
• Follow up receiving the GTP’s of cleared shipments and interfering all the time to speed up collecting the GTP then to sort out these GTP’s, audit them and later on to dispatch them to the regions.
• Prepare the letters for amendment of GTP if there is any error.

Minimum requirements:

Qualifications University Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
Experience 3 years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills; In depth knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel).
Excellent record keeping and information verification abilities.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
