The IRC Iraq country program is issuing this announcement to invite Individual drivers with vehicles to establish an agreement for the supply of vehicles as per the details outlined below. The aim is to select individual service providers to provide the required vehicles for the International Rescue Committee

1.  Vehicle with driver in and around Salahuddin, the required number of vehicles is 1 vehicle or Corolla

Type of required vehicle: Saloon (Corolla or Elantra and Camry( or MINI SUV (RAV 4 , Tucson , Santafe)

All individual service providers which are technically qualified for the supply of the above services are invited to submit their CVs.

Position Overview:
International Rescue Committee intends to hire Transportation Service Providers (Daily service contract vehicle rental with driver) services based on service agreement contract with individuals having the capacity and experience of rendering such services in Salah Aldeen-Iraq for the transportation of safe personnel. The intended contract shall be based on the daily rate price, all-inclusive (driver, fuel, maintenance, insurance, backup support, legal cover) and shall be valid for a minimum period of three months.

نظرة عامة على الو ظیفة:
تعتزم لجنة الإنقاذ الدولیة توظیف مقدمي خدمات النقل (عقد الخدمة یومي لتأجیر المركبات مع السائق) بناء على عقد اتفاقیة الخدمة مع الأفراد الذین
لدیھم القدرة والخبرة في تقدیم مثل ھذه الخدمات في صلاح الدین – العراق لنقل الأفراد الآمنین. یجب أن یعتمد العقد المقصود على السعر الیومي، شامل
كلی ا (سائق ، وقود ، صیانة ، تأمین ، دعم احتیاطي ، تغطیة قانونیة) ویجب أن یكون صالحا لمدة لا تقل عن ثلاثة أشھر.
Main Responsibilities:
• The safe and efficient transportation of IRC personnel and materials.
• The representation of IRC in a professional manner.
• The Driver will be managed in his day-to-day activities by logistic Officer, or as assigned by the line manager.
• The Driver may be assigned duties on weekends, holidays, and after normal working hours of required subject to the supervisor’s discretion.
• The Contractor will provide a vehicle(s) in roadworthy condition, as per requested type of vehicle and will regularly check engine, brakes, air condition, tires, etc. and repair or replace as needed.
• Vehicles will be subject to regular inspection; IRC reserves the right to reject any vehicle or service which does not meet its agreed specifications.
• IRC will not be responsible for any damage, labor, service, or parts.
• The Driver will ensure that the vehicle is equipped with the following:
o Functioning seat belts,
o Spare tire,
o First aid kit,
o Fire extinguisher,
o Basic tool kit.
• The Driver must be respectful to IRC passengers, ensure passengers are provided with the maximum comfort levels possible (e.g., using heaters and A/C when appropriate), and abide by IRC’s Code of Conduct and general guidelines for vehicle usage provided by IRC.
• Only IRC personnel, and/or other persons authorized by IRC, may be carried in vehicles while in service.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum two years of work as a professional driver
• No road safety-related fines or convictions. Thorough knowledge of road rules and regulations.
• Skills in routine vehicle maintenance and minor repair
• Knowledge (or ability to quickly learn) of GPS (tracker) devices.
• Team spirit and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to carry out limited, un-supervised tasks
• Drivers must display an attitude and behavior that reflects well on both them and the IRC
• Level high school education.
• Valid driving license
• Able to pass IRC driving test.
• Experience with INGO/LNGO.
• Demonstration of local area (area of operation) knowledge.
