To make sure the warehouse procedure/policy is correctly implemented in the region, e.g. implementation of WMS and monitor daily the activities in WH region.
To assist all departments within the warehousing environment, inclusive of all the activities relating to the daily logistics & supply chain movements of the inbound / outbound shipment handling within the warehouse.
Assist with the offloading or movement of shipments from transporter vehicle to warehouse location.
Sort / group and pack all received items in an orderly manner so that its countable and advise on any discrepancies detected.
Ensure that special care and handling is taken when offloading different categories of stock that require “Special handling” indicators.
Place “identification labels” on shipments that require labels.
Updating the system or ensuring data updated on the system is accurate.
Coordinating with warehous or transport service providers to clarify queries in the absence of the supervisor.
Coordinates with the inventory control team on matters of system and operational anomalies and stock replenishments.
Regularly coordinates with the transport service providers for availing vehicles for warehouses.
Forwarding end users requirements vide WMS documents to the warehouse supervisor.
Providing end user with spontaneous status updates of their shipments.
Clarifying issues related to the integrity of WMS with warehouse personnel for client feedback regularly.
Maintaining records and updating database of all transactions for analysis and monitoring of performance i.e. service levels.
Ensure all deliveries are despatched at their designated time slot to be on site at the requested time by the technical team with the assistance of the immediate supervisor.
Plan & develop daily schedules of deliveries and pickups that meet service and efficiency standards ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain files and email communications for all the shipments.
Successfully implement the WMS in regional Warehouse.
Report the transactions to the manager and HQ.
Reporting functionally to the Sourcing department HQ and administratively to region.
Any other task may be assigned and related to warehouse and logistics activities.
