30784 – WAREHOUSE SUPERINTENDENT

At Eni, we are looking for a Warehouse Superintendent within the Zubair Field Operating Division in ZubairIraq. You will be responsible for organizing the Company’s strategy in the area of Inventory Accuracy and ensuring an uninterrupted warehouse service in the best interest of end user Departments. You will oversee inventories using a computerized tracking system, provide leadership to other staff members and reduce the warehouse service costs. You will ensure the improvement of the warehouse services through the development and introduction of new systems, aimed to increase warehouse effectiveness and services profitability. This position reports directly to the Material Management Section Head.

As a member of the Logistics department, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily warehousing material operations and effectiveness of the Stock Inventory optimization of materials.
  • Providing direct supervision to subordinates by managing and directing activities of personnel engaged in material warehousing, shipping, receiving distribution and inventory storage conforming to Eni Iraq (ZFOD) procedure.
  • Acting as liaison between C&P and suppliers, in order to control the Supply Chain and monitoring the lead time.
  • Liaising with Customs and Shipping department.
  • Acting as Inventory Team Leader and participating in the Quarterly and Annual Physical Inventories of goods.
  • Ensuring that all materials movements are recorded and tracked on SAP.
  • Planning, in agreement with line managers and Finance Department, (AT) inventory control, achieving balance sheet targets and mitigating inventory risk.
  • Ensuring the correctness of data entries and material documents filing system.
  • Providing support to Material Section Head in the implementation of SAP system (Materials Management System).
  • Preparing material storage recommendations for employees, taking into account goods storing procedures, best counting practices and easy material accessibility for the collection of orders.
  • Implementing and updating the MRP management system and supporting Maintenance department.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of procedures to increase the effectiveness of warehouse activities and making proposals on warehouse services improvement.
  • Ensuring that all HSE&Q requirements related to material handling, lifting equipment and storage transportation are fully understood and met, as per Eni Iraq (ZFOD) procedure/policy.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

  • Technical diploma or high school education.
  • Extensive experience in materials management in the oil industry and able to demonstrate successful track record in such positions.
  • Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Materials Management.
  • Knowledge of Acquisition and Application processes & procedures.
  • Comprehensive, practical knowledge of a technical field, with use of analytical judgement and decision-making abilities appropriate to the work environment of the organization.
  • Good level of English language, written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Material Management programs.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to operate independently, managing own time and establishing priorities.
