Job Overview

Main Responsibility:

To consistently give customers, both external and internal, the highest possible level of commitment and service, aligning with the quality policies and procedures for this job.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. To maintain and operate the service warranty procedures in line with the GWM guidelines and Inchcape company policies, claiming the correct amount of hours per job and working within the guidelines of the warranty manual provided by the manufacturer.
  2. To ensure a ‘green’ status is achieved and maintained for dealership warranty results as required by the manufacturer and company.
  3. To submit all warranty claims to the manufacturer within 15 working days of the technician’s last clock in date, in addition to other special cases and requirements by GWM.
  4. Rejected claims are to be corrected and resubmitted within 3 days of notification.
  5. To invoice all warranty jobs using the manufacturer’s standard repair operation times.
  6. To maintain the warranty sales ledger in line with the company’s debtor’s policy, liaison with the manufacturer’s warranty department to obtain payment for outstanding claims.
  7. To set up and maintain an adequate filing system for the keeping of job cards, credit summaries, claim submission acknowledgements, etc.
  8. To retain these documents in safe keeping and accessible in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  9. To keep up to date with the latest product and technical bulletins that relate to changes in the manufacturer’s procedures and policies and escalate these to the relevant departments for action.
  10. When requested by the manufacturer, coordinate recalls, ensuring outstanding vehicles are pursued until conclusion. Providing regular feedback internally and to the manufacturer on the vehicle recall status.
  11. With the assistance of the parts department, ensure the failed warranty parts are retained and stored in a neat and tidy manner, with a proper shelving system.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Similar role or equivalent
  2. Computer Literate (Word, Excel & Power point)
  3. English Speaking / Reading / Writing is a must. Arabic / Kurdish is a plus.
  4. Good listening / Negotiating / Decision making skills
  5. Able and willing to travel to all our branches. (BGW, Basra, Erbil, Duhok and Suly)
  6. Basic Technical Knowledge about Automobiles – will be tested.
  7. Able to understand Manufacturers Communications and interpret to staff
  8. Automobile and OR Engineering Certificate / Degree
  9. Strong communication skills
  10. Willing to grow within the company with a long-term relationship.
