Job Scope:
The Assistant HR Specialist supports the implementation of effective HR strategies through close coordination with employees, line managers, and key stakeholders. She acts as a key support resource across various HR functional and operational areas.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide daily assistance to employees on HR matters including administration, onboarding, and employee relations.
Handle HR-related tasks in compliance with local labor laws.
Assist in managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
Update HR dashboards, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend solutions in coordination with the HR Manager.
Maintain HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), procedures, job descriptions, and organizational charts.
Support annual performance appraisal processes, ensuring fairness and transparency.
Maintain HR databases, records, employee files, and monitor attendance and leave schedules.
Prepare employment contracts for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
Ensure timely completion of probation meetings and related documentation.
Collaborate with the Center of Excellence on projects addressing employee and organizational needs.
Assist in addressing employee relations issues, performance concerns, and escalate complex matters as needed.
Coordinate with other departments (Finance, Legal, IT) to achieve shared organizational objectives.
Stay informed about legal requirements, labor laws, and HR best practices.
Participate in evaluating training programs and ensure mandatory trainings are completed.
Assist in planning and coordinating HR initiatives and events to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
Support the implementation of myMidis HR modules across departments.
Position Requirements:
Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English (both written and spoken).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years relevant HR experience.
