JOB PURPOSE:

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by conducting in-depth market research to support business development and customer relationship management (CRM).

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Global Business Development Director to assess and prioritize high-value opportunities.
  • Ensure all bid submissions are compliant, competitive, and tailored to specific client requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth market research on relevant sectors using provided tools and portals, tracking procurement cycles, emerging opportunities, and funding trends.
  • Identify high-growth regions and sectors that align with company’s capabilities.
  • Support in the preparation of high-quality, client-centric bid proposals, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements.
  • Develop pricing and cost strategies in collaboration with relevant teams to maintain competitiveness.
  • Facilitate coordination between technical, legal, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive proposal development.
  • Engage with key decision-makers and government agencies to strengthen company’s presence in the industry.
  • Help refine bidding processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and win rates
  • Utilize CRM systems and tools to analyze client data and insights, enabling engagement strategies that drive long-term business growth.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, international relations, engineering, public policy or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in market research, capture planning, or business development.
  • Previous experience in business development with international defense contractors or government agencies would be advantageous.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong expertise in bid development, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to provide data-driven strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Good writing skills to support in developing high-quality proposals.
  • Fluent in English. Other language proficiencies are an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, ownership of tasks, and accountable.
  • Adaptability and cultural awareness to work across global market.
