Electrical Engineer

Aswar Group is looking for a motivated candidate to join its family as an (Electrical Engineer) in Baghdad.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints for various systems and components.
• Develop and design electrical circuits, systems, and devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, to integrate electrical and electronic components into overall systems.
• Conduct tests and experiments on electrical systems and components to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and analyze electrical issues, implementing solutions to resolve problems.
• Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to achieve project goals.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to electrical designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
• Create reports and technical documentation for project stakeholders.
• Ensure that electrical designs and systems comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate new technologies into designs.
• Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and professionals to achieve project objectives.
• Communicate effectively with team members and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in existing electrical systems and processes.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend their integration where applicable.
• Additional tasks may be added as needed and based on the employee’s efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in using lighting design, simulation (DIALux).
• Proficiency in using MS-Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuit theory.
• Familiarity with various electrical components and systems, such as power distribution, control systems, and signal processing.
• Ability to analyze complex electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Experience in managing engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.

Work Location:

• Baghdad, Iraq.

Days and Hours of Work:

• From Saturday to Thursday.
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
