Job Overview
Aswar Group is looking for a motivated candidate to join its family as an (Electrical Engineer) in Baghdad.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints for various systems and components.
- Develop and design electrical circuits, systems, and devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, to integrate electrical and electronic components into overall systems.
- Conduct tests and experiments on electrical systems and components to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and analyze electrical issues, implementing solutions to resolve problems.
- Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to achieve project goals.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to electrical designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
- Create reports and technical documentation for project stakeholders.
- Ensure that electrical designs and systems comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate new technologies into designs.
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and professionals to achieve project objectives.
- Communicate effectively with team members and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in existing electrical systems and processes.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend their integration where applicable.
- Additional tasks may be added as needed and based on the employee’s efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in using lighting design, simulation (DIALux).
- Proficiency in using MS-Office.
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuit theory.
- Familiarity with various electrical components and systems, such as power distribution, control systems, and signal processing.
- Ability to analyze complex electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Experience in managing engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.
Work Location:
- Baghdad, Iraq.
Days and Hours of Work:
- From Saturday to Thursday.
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
