We are hiring Fleet Specialist in Erbil

Responsibilities:

In your role as a fleet specialist, you will be in charge of making sure that the company’s fleet of cars, SUVs, vans, and other equipment is properly maintained, GPS fitted and tracked, marked, and kept up to date. In addition to minimizing downtime and lowering repair and replacement costs, this position is crucial to assuring the fleet’s safety and reliability.

Fleet Management:

  • Make arrangements for the new cars to be inspected (PPI), marked and fitted with
  • Make vehicle arrangements for PVI and yearly renewals and maintain accurate
  • Monitor the movements of fleet vehicles using the GPS tracking system and respond appropriately to any suspicious movements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the existing fleet to identify any issues or necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad
  • Attend fleet vehicle breakdowns when and where

Troubleshooting and Repair:

  • Diagnose and repair any issues with the fleet vehicles, including electrical, mechanical, and software-related problems by coordinating with the service centers concerned.

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the fleet is running at optimal levels. This includes scheduling regular maintenance tasks and tracking the completion of these tasks.

Cost Control:

  • Monitor and control the costs associated with fleet maintenance, including parts and labor. Identify areas for cost savings and make recommendations to management.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the fleet is well-maintained and any issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Compliance:

  • Ensure the fleet is following all relevant regulations and standards SIXT, such as vehicle inspections, emissions standards, and safety standards.

Reporting:

  • Generate reports on fleet maintenance activities, including maintenance history, repair costs, and vendor performance.

Requirements:

  • College degree or diploma in Automotive (electromechanics).
  • Able to communicate both written and verbal in English, Arabic and
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in fleet maintenance in a car rental, automotive workshop or transportation industry.
  • Must have a valid driving
  • Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, electrical systems, and diagnostic
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex issues with fleet
