RESPONSIBILITIES

Wood is currently looking for Maintenance E&I Compex Supervisor to support our team in Iraq/Basra rotational 4×4

  • Ex inspection, maintenance and rectification works on all E&I and HV equipment in west qurna1.
  • Ensure all work meets the site needs in reference to the regulations and the subsequent ATEX compliance
  • Utilizes and understands P&ID, single line drawings, termination drawings, EX documentation, Certification documents, manuals, drawing, specifications, and processes diagrams pertaining to oil and gas industry
  • Tests accuracy of, and detects abnormal fluctuations in E&I and HV equipment
  • Supervise maintenance and repairs of low, medium and high voltage power distribution systems, wiring and lighting systems, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment such as transformer, switches, relays, circuit breakers, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, computerized process control systems and field control devices
  • Provide support for the implementation and on-going maintenance of safety critical electrical / instrumentation systems
  • Knowledge of working on either DCS or PLC control systems (Delta V, Allen Bradley, Siemens etc).
  • Identifies problems or issues in a timely manner to take corrective action as RCFA required.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Builds relationships with other departments and project team members
  • Supervise vender activities
  • Knowledge of the working principle of field instruments, sensor, control valve, transmitter, meter, and gauges
  • Experience working with Industrial Controls, PLC, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, & temperature
  •  Oversee the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems
  •  Oversee small to medium-sized projects related to electrical and instrumentation systems, including upgrades and installation
  •  Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations
  • Computer skills related to Maintenance Management software Passport, Excel, Word, Outlook
  •  Complies with National Electrical Codes, Standards and Regulations  Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment policy and comply with employee responsibilities listed in the Health, Safety and Environment Handbook
  •  Leading a 24/7 quick response team to rectify plant shut down/ trip issues to maintain production

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • More than 15 years’ experience in the Up-stream or Mid-Stream of the Oil and Gas project/operations engineering business
  • HNC/Degree in Electrical Instrumentation
  • More than 10 years’ experience in Hazardous areas and Certified EX equipment. ATEX standard IEC 60079  Good knowledge for the Implementation of project Quality Management System according to requirement of ISO 9001:2015 at different stages of project construction activities
  • Qualified in Atex certified Equipment with Compex or equivalent qualification
  • Atex, Compex trainer both in field and in classroom environment
  • Quality Audits and Inspections experience
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions; prepare clear and concise records, reports, and other written materials
  •  Establish and maintain effective relationships with those encountered in the course of work.
  • Read and understand P&ID, single line drawings, termination drawings, EX documentation, Certification documents, manuals, drawing, specifications, and processes diagrams pertaining to oil and gas industry
  • Organize, plan and complete projects
  • Communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing
  •  Work with minimal supervision; schedule down time according to established priorities; work under less detailed instructions to complete assignments
  •  Manage condition and asset failure data; assist with determining where to store it; QA/QC the data to make sure that it is correct; work with
  • appropriate groups to request schema changes in applications used to
  • support asset management
  • Proven supervisory experience with excellent behaviors and the ability to
  • plan and measure
  •  Hands on experience in Oil and Gas facilities
  •  Excellent communication skills in verbal and written briefs and skilled in
  • report writing and compilation.
  • Experience and ability to fault find complex instrument and electrical
  • systems
  •  Experienced in working in a 24/7 quick reaction team for any E&I plant trip
