Job Summary:
The PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) & Stockyard Controller is responsible for managing the storage, inspection, and movement of vehicles within the stockyard while ensuring all vehicles undergo thorough pre-delivery inspections. The role ensures that vehicles are maintained in optimal condition, efficiently processed, and delivered as per company standards.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in vehicle stockyard management, logistics, or automotive PDI operations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Knowledge of automotive inspection and quality control processes.
- Ability to coordinate vehicle movement and logistics efficiently.
- Proficiency in stock management software and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify vehicle defects.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in outdoor and warehouse environments.
