Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the reception at the Yazidi Empowerment Project (YEP) Community Center and will support all activities related to receiving and directing participants, visitors, and phone calls in compliance with Samaritans Purse policies and procedures. S/he will also perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the project team and activities. Samaritans Purse is looking for committed, hardworking applicants with a passion to serve people with dignity.
Job Duties:
- Welcome visitors to the YEP Community Center by greeting them, in person or by phone, and receiving questions, complaints, and concerns.
- Answer questions from beneficiaries and/or community members about registration processes and beneficiary obligations for entrance into activities.
- As needed, refer beneficiaries and/or community members to relevant Program Leadership regarding issues beyond what s/he is able to answer.
- Maintain a proper filing and document control system for recording and tracking beneficiary and community inquiries.
- Assist in daily administrative roles including but not limited to receiving documents, facilitating signatures, filing, and class registration.
- Collaborate with project team to advertise and recruit participants from surrounding community.
- Correspond with beneficiaries on any necessary processes and documentation needed for the program.
- Maintain a professional reception environment.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings.
- Uphold the SP Code of Conduct at all times.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Program Manager
Complete other activities as directed by the Line Manager and performing all other tasks and responsibilities assigned for the benefit of Samaritans Purse with a generous and serving spirit.

- Above average mathematic skills
Education / Experience Needed
- Literate in Kurdish and Arabic
- High school certification or higher.
LANGUAGE
- Fluency in Kurdish required.
- Proficiency in Arabic and/or English is a plus.
