Recruitment Officer – SAS Toyota

Job Overview

The Recruitment Officer is required for managing the recruitment process, this role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with potential candidates. He will work closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop strategies to attract qualified individuals who align with the company’s values and culture.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, and professional networks to identify and attract potential candidates for open positions within the company.
  • Conduct interviews (pre-screenings) and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organization.
  • Communicate with department heads and other managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies for each position.
  • Contribute to the development of employer branding initiatives to position the dealership as an employer of choice within the automotive industry.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles and alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, interview feedback, and recruitment metrics to inform decision-making and improve future hiring processes.
  • Engages with applicants, provides information about the company and available positions, and ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews with managers, conducting pre-interview briefings for both interviewers and candidates and providing guidance on interview techniques are key responsibilities of the role.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations in all recruitment activities is imperative for this role.
