RESPONSIBILITIES

Wood is currently recruiting for Rotating Equipment Maintenance Technician to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 14/14 rotation we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra

  • Experience in maintenance of all rotating equipment such as compressors (Reciprocating, Screw, Centrifugal, Turbo Expander etc), pumps (Centrifugal, Screw, Reciprocating, Diaphragm etc
  • Ensure compliance with the site safety rules and with all safety aspects in the execution of work.
  • Complete field level risk assessments.
  • Safely perform testing functions on the following
  • Assist vendor representatives and site operations in commissioning and startup (energization) activities for medium and low voltage electrical systems.
  • Follow and maintain standards of Quality in accordance with Quality System requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualifications / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Equivalent e.g. graduate of an institute
  • Technical Diploma/ 2-5 years of Experience,
  • Literate in the use of standard computer software programs. Word, Excel, etc
  • English Communication skills / Team player/ Time-Management / Adaptability / Willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of Oil & Gas Process Operations, HSE practices and application in the field.
