Purpose of the Position
Reporting to: Sales Supervisor
Sales representatives tend to have excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong
emphasis on customer service. They have a deep understanding of the product they’re
selling, and have the communication skills to connect with customers. The Sales
representative is the most knowledgeable about a product, generate leads on potential
buyers, cover the needs of new and existing customers, negotiate prices, and work with
several other departments within a company.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Acquires new customers, agent and enterprises by reaching out to leads
• Onboard merchant, agent and enterprise account
• Learn details about all our products and services
• Understand all the prospects needs, problems or wants
• Explain how our solutions align with their pain points
• Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support
• Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices
• Collect agent money and deposit the money in the bank account
• Prepare and present reports when needed
• Maintains documentation of customer contact and account updates
• Maintains monthly or quarterly goals
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business, or related field preferred
• 2 years’ previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related
field
• Demonstrated and proven sales results
• Good computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information,
filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts; may include entering and
tracking merchandise, scheduling with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Focused on customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Persuasive and goal-oriented
• In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the market
• Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide
• correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer
experience
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
