RESPONSIBILITIES
Wood is currently recruiting for Static Equipment Maintenance Technician to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 14/14 rotation we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra
- Ensure compliance with the site safety rules and with all safety aspects in the execution of work.
- Complete field level risk assessments.
- Safely perform testing functions on the following
- Assist vendor representatives and site operations in commissioning and startup (energization) activities for medium and low voltage electrical systems.
- Follow and maintain standards of Quality in accordance with Quality System requirements.
- Experience in Maintenance of static equipment such as heat exchangers, replacing filters, opening the strainer, replaced valves, connecting flanges, and knowing all types of piping, flange & gasket and stud bolt
QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualifications / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Equivalent e.g. graduate of an institute
- Technical Diploma/ 2-5 years of Experience,
- Literate in the use of standard computer software programs. Word, Excel, etc
- English Communication skills / Team player/ Time-Management / Adaptability / Willingness to learn.
- Understanding of Oil & Gas Process Operations, HSE practices and application in the field.
