Technical Engineer (After-Sales Customer Service)

Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Technical Engineer (After-Sales Customer Service) will provide exceptional technical support, ensuring high customer satisfaction and product reliability. The role involves product development, performance testing, quality assurance, and managing product returns. Additionally, the position includes providing technical training, resolving escalated issues, and utilizing CRM systems to manage customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development and Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and improve solar products for distributors and installers.
  • Conduct performance tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Implement quality control measures before product release.

Customer Support and Product Returns:

  • Handle product returns and warranty claims efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed reports on product issues and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager for seamless return processes.

Technical Training and CRM Management:

  • Provide training to customers and internal teams on product installation and maintenance.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and feedback.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends and customer preferences.

Issue Resolution and Documentation:

  • Address escalated client issues and provide operational resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions.

Team Supervision and Collaboration:

  • Supervise a team, set performance goals, and provide coaching.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams for seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in technical support, electronics, or solar energy systems. Experience with solar inverters, lithium batteries, and PV systems is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English (required), Kurdish (preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and power electronics.
    • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
    • Ability to create training materials and technical documentation.
