Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Editing Footage: Edit raw footage into a polished video, ensuring that the final product meets the clients or organization’s needs and vision.
• Post-Production Tasks: color correction, audio editing, adding special effects, and creating transitions to enhance the overall quality of the video.
• Collaboration work closely with other team members, such as directors, producers, and cinematographers, to ensure that the final product meets the desired artistic and technical standards.
• Software Proficiency: proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer, depending on the industry standards.
• Creative Input: contribute creatively to the project, suggesting ideas for visual storytelling and editing techniques.
• Quality Control: Ensuring that the final video meets technical standards, such as resolution, aspect ratio, and audio quality, is also an important responsibility.
• Meeting Deadlines: Ability to work under tight deadlines, so the ability to manage time effectively and deliver projects on time is crucial.

Motion Graphics Creation:

• Concept Development: Collaborate with creative teams to conceptualize and plan motion graphic sequences that enhance video content.
• Animation: Create visual effects, and motion graphics that align with the project’s creative vision and objectives.
• Graphic Design: Design and create graphics, titles, lower thirds, and other visual elements that enhance storytelling.
• Logo Animation: Animate logos and branding elements to create dynamic and visual identities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in animation, graphic design, film, or a related field (relevant certifications and a strong portfolio are a plus).
• Strong creativity and an eye for visual storytelling.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of timing and aesthetics.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
• Knowledge of industry trends, animation techniques, and visual effects.
