Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including preparing invoices, managing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling cash and bank accounts, and maintaining accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Input accounting data into the accounting software with accuracy checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
  • Perform cash and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Liaise with the bank for any financial operations or queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in processing payroll.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, or equivalent).

Required skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Languages:  

  • Kurdish, Arabic and English are mandatory.
