Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems for web and/or mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience as a backend developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and/or mobile applications that you have contributed to or built.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages and frameworks, such as Laravel, Node.js, Java/Spring.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis) and knowledge of database design principles and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles, as well as authentication and authorization mechanisms (such as JWT or OAuth).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with other developers and stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies (such as Docker) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for web and/or mobile applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance our development process and product offerings.
