Role Overview:

Visit Kurdistan is seeking a passionate and skilled Content Editor to join our vibrant marketing team. You will be instrumental in crafting compelling stories and developing engaging content that fuels our tourism marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and refine written content across diverse marketing materials, including brochures, website copy, and editorial articles.
• Collaborate with creative teams and strategists to brainstorm captivating story ideas and narratives that connect with target audiences.
• Conduct research and interviews to gather valuable information and insights to inform content creation.
• Ensure all written materials are accurate, consistent, and adhere to established brand guidelines.
• Manage multiple content projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to influence content strategy and direction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Three years of proven experience as an editor within a journalism or magazine environment.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
• A natural storyteller with strong creative thinking abilities.
• Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work settings.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and editing software.
