A reputable Bitumen Company in Erbil is looking for an experienced candidate with excellent English language skills & advanced accounting experiences to perform daily office tasks a Finance Officer under the CEO & General Manager’s supervision.

  1. Position Title: Finance Officer
  2. Location: Erbil
  3. Duration: Full-time, with 2 months probationary period
  4. Reporting to: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Officer will be responsible for accountancy tasks for both local and international operations within the company’s framework operations. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of finance and administrative procedures as well as language & computer skills, as well as updating the ERP system on daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

– Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various accounts.

– Review accounting entries and ensure their accuracy in accounting and administrative terms.

– Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

– Monitor T-accounts and manage other accounts.

– Coordinate with external actors for financial purposes.

– Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

– Stay updated on local and international financial regulations.

– Assist in the preparation of documents for regulatory filings and permits.

– Provide financial analysis as well as administrative support to support decision-making.

– Assist in the development and implementation of accounting and financial policies and processes.

–Update the ERP system & follow up for necessary data & handle reports based on requests

Qualifications and Skills:

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, I.T, Business Administration, or related field.

– Proven experience (3 years) in finance and administrative roles, preferably within similar.

– Language requirement – Kurdish or Arabic, English Language skills is a must

– Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, ERPs).

– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

– Knowledge of local and international financial regulations and compliance requirements.
