Information Security Engineer

Job Description: Full-time employee experienced in network and IT infrastructure security, engineering, configuring, and implementing new security products and services.

Location: AsiaPay HQ, located in Sulaymaniyah City

Responsibilities:
• Deploying and managing security technologies and applications to protect AsiaPay’s computer systems and network such as EDR, DLP, FIM, NAC, PAM, etc.
• Research and consult with key technology suppliers and industry consultants to evaluate, select, install, and configure hardware and software systems that provide appropriate security functions.
• Respond in a timely manner to a loss or misuse of information assets and participate in investigations of suspected information security misuse.
• This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.
• Providing after-hours and weekend support whenever required.
• Staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to obtain the required security certifications as required as a part of job duties and business requirements.
• Read, understand, enforce, and adhere to the information security policies, standards, and procedures, and do not hinder in any way the proper execution of procedures defined within.
• Understand and abide by our non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, and rules of behavior policy.

Qualifications:
• bachelor’s degree in computer science, cyber security, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in Information Technology, or Information Security required.
• knowledge and understanding of Information Technology/Security best practices required.
• Experience in securing and managing Microsoft Active Directory, securing and managing network infrastructure systems, and using scripting and automation techniques such as Microsoft PowerShell, and Python required.
• Self-motivated and quick learner.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask, learn new technologies in a fast-paced energized environment.
• CompTIA Network +, Security+, CySA+, CCNA, or equivalent level certifications highly desired.
