Job Overview
Position Summary:
The Network Operations Center (NOC) is responsible for providing the highest level of service support in a 24x7x365 days/year role with a specific focus on monitoring, tracking, and escalating various issues to ensure TASC’s compliance with service level agreements. The NOC Engineer is responsible for ensuring customer queries and complaints are handled, managed, and resolved in a manner that complies with TASC, client, and regulatory standards and expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Ongoing monitoring, alerting, technical support, access authorization.
- Respond to incoming calls and e-mails from clients in a manner that adheres to TASC NOC procedures and processes by create/follow up Trouble Tickets (TTs) in a timely manner and dispatch TTs toward the proper departments.
- NOC Member will be the 1st contact with landowners, vendors, and emergency service responders with aid other NOCs or field technicians during third party repairs and service outages.
- Require a rotating schedule with off-hours support as NOC working 24/7.
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn specialized system tools.
- Skilled at completing tickets for maintenance purpose.
- Knowledge of wireless communications and power system a plus.
- Detailed oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a NOC, Technical Support environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Computer science, information technology, computer Engineering, Telecommunication.
Skills & Competencies:
- Fluency (both oral and written) in both English and Arabic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong Communications skills are required.
- Excellent analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
