Job Overview

Purpose of the job: As the Sales and Commercial Manager for an IT & Systems Solutions Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s revenue growth by leading the sales and commercial efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing commercial activities to ensure profitability and sustainable business growth

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Business Development:
  • Generate new business leads and opportunities through various channels, including networking, partnerships, and cold calling.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective lead generation campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear targets and performance metrics.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and goal achievement.
  • Proposal and Contract Management:
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop comprehensive and compelling proposals that address client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements while ensuring alignment with the company’s profitability goals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Foster long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of escalation for client concerns and issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
  • Provide regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to help refine sales strategies and identify emerging trends.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports, presentations, and forecasts for senior management
