Job Overview
We are looking for a Service Request Manager (SRM) to join our team in Erbil city.
Working Schedule: 5 Days/ Week, 9 Hours/Day
Summary:
As an SRM, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the inflow of service requests, ensuring that each task is adequately prioritized, tracked, and allocated. You’ll act as the vital link between our stakeholders and development teams, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, understanding requirements and communicating needs clearly.
- Efficiently manage and prioritize the backlog of service requests, ensuring that tasks align with business goals and project deadlines.
- Develop and implement processes for incoming requests to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth workflow for the development team.
- Monitor and control the flow of work to maintain optimal levels of work-in-progress (WIP), ensuring the team’s efficiency and focus.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders and the development team to review project progress, address any issues, and adjust priorities as necessary.
- Maintain clear documentation of all service requests, decisions made, and progress updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Identify and implement improvements in the service request management process to enhance team productivity and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on service request status, team performance, and process efficiency to upper management and relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with the development team to understand challenges, remove obstacles, and facilitate a productive working environment.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate relevant updates into the team’s processes to continually enhance service management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a tech environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban and Scrum.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
