Job Overview

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Erbil city.

Working Schedule: 5 Days/ Week, 9 Hours/Day

 

Summary:

This role is essential in addressing and resolving technical issues arising within various departments of our company, enabling other teams, especially our developers, to concentrate on their core responsibilities. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the linchpin in our IT infrastructure, ensuring that all internal requests and issues are managed promptly and effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal technical support, addressing issues related to systems, connectivity, office equipment, and software.
  • Monitor and respond to requests, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand system functionalities and common issues.
  • Provide onboarding and training to teams on new technologies or features.
  • Develop and maintain an internal knowledge base to reduce issue resolution times.
  • Document all technical inquiries and solutions for future reference.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of the network and computer systems.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed for critical issues impacting business operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist or similar role, with a focus on internal support.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic to complex technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Patience and ability to manage stress effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team and as an individual.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field.
