Vendor Success Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Vendor Success Manager to join our team in Erbil city.

Working Schedule: 6 Days/ Week, 8 Hours/Day

Job Summary:

To seek out potential vendors and work with them to maximize their sales through Elryan.com platform. To oversee the onboarding and management of vendor accounts on the platform. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be highly motivated.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential vendors through social media pages, networking events, referrals and conducting market research.
  • Reach out to potential vendors by phone calls, emails, and site visits. Establish and build relationships with them.
  • Assist vendors with onboarding by overseeing the contract signing, online registration, providing them with sufficient training on the Elryan.com marketplace platform both online and offline, and supporting them with product registration, as necessary.
  • Engage with vendors to obtain discounts, give promotions, and get their participation in events like monthly promotions, Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and other promotional events.
  • Work with vendors to ensure that prices and stock are updated regularly and ensuring that prices are always in line with or lower than prices advertised elsewhere.
  • Follow up with vendors on order fulfilment and ensure delivery commitments are fulfilled.
  • Encourage vendors to utilize paid marketing campaigns by explaining the benefits and work with the marketing team to ensure the vendor sees a return on their investment.
  • Encourage vendors to use ‘’Fulfilled by Elryan’’ to deliver any orders they receive through their own direct sales.
  • Follow up with and support vendors on all aspects of the vendor account, from order processing to account statements and payments.
  • Support vendor with problem solving for account discrepancies, service issues, and other cases.
  • Collect market intelligence relating to vendor sales through competitors, other channels, etc.
  • Provide feedback to technical team on bugs and potential improvements to the user experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English. Proficiency in Kurdish is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong sales & marketing skills, strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with external partners and internal colleagues across all levels.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately and consistently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce.
  • Strong analytical and procurement skills.
  • Experience in vendor management and procurement processes.
  • Willingness to travel within Iraq as needed.
  • Strong sense of responsibility. Highly motivated.
