City: Erbil

Working Schedule: 5 Days/ Week, 9 Hours/Day

 

Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated People Operations Specialist to join our HR team. You will be responsible for handling all People Operations functions, including setting up company policies, preparing compensation and benefits packages, maintaining updated employee records, ensuring a healthy workplace by providing HR procedures and to recruit, support, train, and place employees of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive employee experience. Support employee engagement, encourage higher employee productivity and increase performance results.
  • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the company.
  • Coordinate with company leaders, identify the company’s hiring needs and manage the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly.
  • Implement training and development plans.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.
  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records.
  • Address employee concerns to create an engaging work environment. Support employees on a day-to-day basis and Process employees’ queries in a timely manner.
  • Manage employee compensation and benefits.
  • Onboard new employees and ensure they have access to necessary resources and tech.
  • Foster relationships and build communities to boost employee wellness and retention.
  • Keep track of and analyze HR metrics.
  • Handle offboarding process, facilitate a smooth transition, recover company assets, remove data accesses and schedule exit interviews.
  • Responsible for: Connecting individual employee performance with company goals, Mapping the employee journey and lifecycle, Developing a people strategy, Employee recognition, Employee development, Continuous engagement, Culture development and transformation (to be a champion of company culture and values).

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as HR / People Operations Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Fluency in Kurdish, English and Arabic.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
