Location:                            Vara Company / Erbil Branch

Key responsibilities & duties

  • Identify and research potential customers within the target market and makes sales appointments with clients.
  • Generate leads through various channels such as calling, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and challenges.
  • Recommend appropriate machinery solutions to meet customer needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our machinery offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance and support to clients throughout the sales process.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and present proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to the specific needs of each customer.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Follow up on leads and opportunities to ensure timely conversion into sales.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop strategic plans and initiatives to drive sales results.
  • Finds new target markets and penetrates them to drive sales and discovers how to market products to new users.
  • Conducts customers visits, makes reports, sends reports to sales managers on weekly bases.
  • Responsible for invoicing, delivery notes for equipment sales in his branch.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales and customer interactions.

Work experience & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the machinery or automotive.
  • Arabic, Kurdish and English required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of three-year experience working in organizations or companies.
  • Strong understanding of machinery products and their applications is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
